About Us
Sara Bradstock
Sara Bradstock is one of Britain’s most respected National Hunt racehorse trainers, known for her deep horsemanship, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to the welfare and performance of every horse under her care.
Based at Letcombe Bassett, near Wantage in Oxfordshire, Sara runs the family’s training yard alongside her husband, former jockey Mark Bradstock, where together they have produced top-class jumpers from a small, close-knit operation. Their hands-on approach and belief in quality over quantity have earned them a reputation for developing tough, talented horses capable of competing at the very highest level.
Sara played a key role in training Coneygree, who made history in 2015 by becoming the first novice in over 40 years to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup — a testament to her skill, patience, and intuitive understanding of each horse’s individual character and potential.

“What Mark and Sara don’t know about horses probably isn’t worth knowing! Their careful care of every horse in their Stables is obvious in how happy they are and their individual development. They are also good with new owners like me, patiently explaining everything and providing a lovely welcome every time I visit. I look forward to many more wins!”
“Sara has been an invaluable help in my preparation of my horses. She rides with skill and patience both at home and on the track which I know will prove to be a great advantage.”
